NCT’s Taeyong shares his new hairstyle with fans before enlisting in the military

Taeyong posed with short hair and sunglasses, exuding a unique charisma. His adorable and heartwarming visuals couldn’t be hidden.

“The members helped cut my hair. Jungwoo was the one who started, but he cut it too short,” Taeyong said. “I wanted to try a skinhead. It’s hip.” He continued, adding humorously, “This is my first time seeing my scalp since birth. Hey, why do you look like this?”

Today (15th), Taeyong will enlist in the military. After receiving basic military training for a certain period, he will serve as an active duty soldier in the Navy.

There will be no separate official event. The agency stated, “We ask for your understanding regarding the private enlistment to prevent safety accidents due to overcrowding at the scene.”

Last month, Taeyong also expressed his gratitude to fans through a handwritten letter. “Every moment has been truly meaningful and happy,” he wrote. “Because there are so many things I want to achieve, I will work hard during my military service and learn many things. I will become a better version of myself and stand on stage.”

On the other hand, Taeyong is the first member of NCT to fulfill his military duty. His expected discharge date is December 14, 2025.
